On November 2nd, 2017, Cisco Umbrella will release Umbrella Insights Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.1.2 to customers on our stage release track.
On November 7th, 2017, Cisco Umbrella will release Umbrella Insights Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.1.2 to customers on the first wave of our production release track.
On November 17th, 2017, Cisco Umbrella released Umbrella Insights Virtual Appliance version 2.12. to all customers on all productions release tracks.
In accordance with Cisco policy, a list of open source software modules used in the VA is attached to these release notes. It contains licenses and notices for open source software used in this product.
As a reminder, two VAs must be configured in order to upgrade automatically during these windows.
CHANGE SUMMARY (2.1.0 to 2.1.2)
- The new support tunnel (released under version 2.1.0) will now be the only support tunnel available and supported as of this release.
- Removal of weakly authenticated shell access from start menu. This is planned to be replaced in a future release by a stronger authentication mechanism for shell access for support purposes. - If the VA's DNScrypt traffic test fails on port 53 UDP, it is sent on port 443, 5353 UDP instead and that port is used in future.
