On Monday December 4th 2017 Cisco Umbrella will release the Umbrella roaming client for macOS version 2.0.58 for all customers on the stage track.
This release rollout has been paused and will not progress beyond stage (release candidate).
This release contains several smaller updates from minor point versions that were tested, and the notes reflect each of these minor point revisions. However, customers should simply see their 2.0.42 version of the roaming client upgrade directly to 2.0.58.

- Improved restoring local resolver list after disconnecting from a third party VPN.
- Umbrella roaming client will not transition to an encrypted state unless a successful API sync is achieved.
- Fixed a problem to check and prevent creation of an empty resolv_orig.conf file.
- Logging cleanup and improvements.

- Various logging cleanup and improvements, including logging during client registrations.
- Improved restoring local resolver list after disconnecting from a third party VPN.
- Updated dnscrypt-proxy binary to support updated libraries' path migration
CHANGE SUMMARY (2.0.54 to 2.0.55)
- Moved dnscrypt-proxy and libraries from "/usr/local/*" to "/Library/Application Support/OpenDNS Roaming Client/" where all of the client's files are stored.
- Updated installer to check for presence of dnscrypt-proxy and libraries in old install paths and remove them.

- Prevent network connection warning popup on macOS.

- Improves DNS and network settings handling, including the following:
- Addressed a potential issue with the Umbrella roaming client for macOS failing to properly restore network settings on system sleep when connected to a third party VPN.
- Improved DNS handling support with native macOS VPN client.
- Improved DNS request parsing.
- Minor logging changes and improvements.
- Additional fix for scenario where resolv_orig.conf may fail to update after disconnecting from some third party VPN sessions.
- Removed display of invalid Active Directory user information when Umbrella roaming client is in a Protected by VA state.
CHANGE SUMMARY (2.0.42 to 2.0.45)
- Improved handling for Trusted Domain (customer trusted network) probes when receiving NOERROR and NXDOMAIN DNS server responses.
