We're rolling out changes to the default timeout period for inactivity in the dashboard by increasing the idle timeout from 20 minutes to 60 minutes. This allows more time to do your work without having to log back in as often, and is in line with modern best practices around inactive timeout periods.
Effective Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, the Umbrella dashboard will enforce the following default session timeout values:
Idle Timeout: 60 minutes
Absolute Timeout: 16 hours
These timeouts apply to all dashboard administrators within an organization. If your organization has asked for a custom timeout period already, this will remain unchanged for your org.
