Overview
Umbrella no longer supports Internet Explorer 8 (IE8). We strive to exceed our customers' needs and expectations, but certain technologies, such as IE8, prevent us from doing that to the best of our ability. While most of the features currently available may still function in IE8, any new features or functionality we introduce may not. This means that in order to take full advantage of the amazing dashboard we all know and love, a more modern browser is highly recommended. You can check for the latest versions here http://browsehappy.com/
What does this actually mean?
Umbrella will no longer QA our products in IE8 or fix bugs in IE8.
Why is this happening?
Microsoft has ended support for Windows XP, which limited users to IE8. This means that more modern browsers are available for supported Microsoft operating systems, and should start to be used at this time. In addition, you can find links to overall IE8 usage, which has fallen to 2% globally.

What should you do?
Users should take action by updating their browsers to the most recent version of Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox or Safari, you can find latest browser versions here: http://browsehappy.com/
What messaging will IE8 Users see?
IE8 users will still see an alert on their dashboard login page notifying them of the end of support for IE8, and a call to action to update their browser. In addition, a smaller alert will be displayed within the dashboard informing users their browser is no longer supported.
