IMPACT: ConnectWise integrations that use a cloud-based ConnectWise server (such as na.myconnectwise.net) will not be able to be update the integration in the OpenDNS dashboard and will not receive PSA Ticketing email alerts. This issue began to affect some customers on May 20, and became widespread on May 25. There are no workarounds at this time.
Note that DNS resolution is not affected, nor is any of the other services OpenDNS provides for both MSP Console and in your customer's dashboards. OpenDNS is blocking malicious domains as usual; furthermore, activity searches and scheduled reports continue to function as designed. Policy changes can also be made.
OpenDNS expects this issue to be resolved on May 26. This article will be updated when more information becomes available.
UPDATE: 7:30 AM PST Thursday May 26, 2016. The issue should now be resolved. Please contact Support if you are still having problems integrating ConnectWise with OpenDNS.
