Over the week commencing August 18, 2014, OpenDNS will release version 1.1.8 of the Active Directory Connector (the Windows Service component).
UPDATE as of August 22, 2014: Only a small number of customers received the upgrade to 1.1.8 over the week of August 18, 2014 and the rollout has stopped. The remaining customers will be receiving an upgrade to 1.1.9 over the month of September. Release notes for the 1.1.9 release will be posted as they become available.
Individual connectors will be selected for upgrade in a staged process throughout the week, with the upgrades occurring during the next upgrade window after being selected.
You can change your upgrade window on the Sites & Active Directory page (https://dashboard2.opendns.com/#configuration/systemsettings/adconfiguration). If you wish to upgrade manually, you can download the new version from that page and install it immediately.
This minor bugfix release improves code compliance and increases sync intervals.
Change Summary (1.1.5 to 1.1.8)
- Sync time increased from 10 seconds to 60 seconds (version 1.1.6)
- UserBlacklist is no longer case-sensitive (version 1.1.7)
- Removal of non-FIPS-compliant code (version 1.1.8)
