Up until now, there's always been a gap between the time an activity is reported on a device protected by OpenDNS and when it shows up in your Organization's Umbrella Dashboard. It's an issue the engineering team here at OpenDNS has been working hard to address.
Well, the wait... is over! Starting today, we're rolling out improvements to the Activity Search Report. You should see those changes reflected in the time it takes to report an activity—30 seconds or less from the time the event occurs to when it's reported.
When a page is allowed or blocked by the Umbrella service, the service immediately reports that data back to your Activity Search report and you can begin an investigation immediately into any security concerns.
