On Monday April 27, 2015 OpenDNS will release version 1.1.14 of the Active Directory Connector (the Windows Service component). The upgrade will take place gradually, with a rollout over the course of the week, ending on Thursday April 30, 2015.
CHANGE SUMMARY (1.1.13 to 1.1.14):
- The connector will no longer trigger an Active Directory sync when a change is detected on a disabled user account
- Service and Client executables are now digitally signed (by the same certificate that signs the Installer)
- Improved logging around sending events to VAs and detecting AD changes
- Allow the frequency of checks for AD changes and the frequency of health checks back to OpenDNS to be configured via the cloud (both currently defaulted to 1 minute).
