Data Loss Prevention (DLP) is now supported within Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) for both Umbrella and Secure Access customers. With this update, isolated browsing sessions will undergo DLP content inspection, ensuring secure browsing of the internet while also safeguarding their sensitive data.
How to enable Data Loss Prevention for Remote Browser Isolation?
Data Loss Prevention rules are seamlessly integrated into isolated sessions, requiring no further action or configuration to take effect.
How does DLP scan isolated sessions?
Files uploaded or form data submitted within an isolated session, such as online forms, instant messages, or AI prompts, will be subject to DLP inspection. If DLP identifies a violation of a DLP rule that has a 'block' action set, the Remote Browser Isolation will block the transmission of that data to its intended destination.
What does the end-user experience when a violation is detected, and data is blocked?
When a data security violation is detected and data is blocked, the end-user will receive a pop-up notification informing them about the breach. Please be aware this is a standard notification that cannot be customized.
