The DLP and Cloud Malware support for ad-hoc report exports as well as scheduled reports. Ad-hoc reporting enables admins to swiftly export reports from the system for distribution to pertinent teams and management on demand. Scheduled reporting takes this further by facilitating the integration of DLP within an organization's data governance policy. It allows designated roles, such as compliance officers and managers, to monitor data security violations without the need to proactively access the dashboard.
This new capability allows you to instantly export the DLP report and also enables administrators to schedule tailored reports to be sent directly to your email for both DLP and Cloud Malware monitoring.
How do I export or schedule a report?
To export or set up a scheduled report, please follow these instructions for both the DLP and Cloud Malware reports:
- Navigate to the DLP report and click the 'Download' button located at the top right. This action will bring up a pop-up window prompting you to give the report a name and set a limit for the number of rows to be included in the exported CSV file.
- If you wish to schedule a report, click the 'Schedule' button. A pop-up will appear, reflecting the filters you've chosen in the DLP report. If you need to change the filters for the scheduled report, go back to the DLP report, adjust the filters to your requirements, and then select the 'Schedule' button again.
- Once you're satisfied with the report filters, click 'Next' to configure the frequency at which you'd like to receive the report. You can choose from daily, weekly, or monthly intervals.
- Finally, assign a descriptive title to your report and enter the email address of the recipient who should receive the scheduled report.
