Umbrella Roaming Security Module for AnyConnect – 4.7.0136

On Thursday, February 21, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release the Umbrella Roaming Security Module for AnyConnect version 4.7.0136 for all customers across all production tracks who have the AnyConnect Cloud auto-update feature enabled in settings.  

Note that in some Cisco resources, a leading zero is displayed ahead of the maintenance release version, so 4.6.3049 is 4.6 MR3 or 4.6.03049, depending on the location the version number is posted.

The auto-update feature is deployed for all AnyConnect capable organizations, but by default is set to off.

To check if your organization's account has the auto-update feature enabled:

1. Log in to your Umbrella dashboard and view Roaming Computers.
2. Navigate to Deployments > Core Identities > Roaming Computers. 
3. On the Roaming Computers page, click Settings and check whether "Automatically update AnyConnect, including VPN module, whenever new versions are released" is selected.
