- Support for specifying, at the time of Connector installation, whether the LDIF files should be stored locally on the Connector for troubleshooting purposes.
- Umbrella AD Connectors deployed on Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 will now use TLS 1.2 with strong ciphers by default when syncing with Umbrella.

- Support for providing a custom username for the Connector account (instead of the default OpenDNS_Connector). This will be available only for new deployments and will require the Domain Controller configuration script to be run with the parameter --username <sAMAccountName>. The same username must be specified when installing the Connector. If you are onboarding multiple AD domains, this username should be present in all AD domains.
- Umbrella AD Connectors deployed on Windows Server 2019 will now use TLS 1.2 with strong ciphers when syncing with Umbrella.

- New mechanism for retrieving user-IP mappings from the Domain Controller in which the Connector reads logon events directly from the Security Event Log on the Domain Controller as opposed to subscribing to these events over WMI. This feature will currently be turned on only if you report issues around delays in user attribution for DNS requests.
