PATCH RELEASES
On Thursday July 25, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release patch version 2.5.5 to virtual appliances that are running low on disk space and hence unable to upgrade.
On Thursday July 25, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release patch version 2.5.6 to virtual appliances on the stage track.
On Friday July 26, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release patch version 2.5.6 to virtual appliances on the first wave of the production track.
On Friday July 26, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release patch version 2.5.7 to virtual appliances on the second, third and final wave of the production track.
These patch releases will not cause the Virtual Appliance to restart.
To receive these patch releases, ensure that your firewall is configured to enable access to disthost.umbrella.com.
As a reminder, two VAs must be configured in order to upgrade automatically during your upgrade window.
CHANGE SUMMARY (2.4.4 to 2.5.5)
- Patch release to clean up any core files. This patch is only being released to Virtual Appliances that are very low on disk space.
CHANGE SUMMARY (2.5.4 to 2.5.6)
- Patch release to address issue where the console (start menu) on the VA is suddenly terminated. This patch is being released to Virtual Appliances on the stage and first wave of the production track only.
CHANGE SUMMARY (2.5.3 to 2.5.7)
- Patch release to address issue where the console (start menu) on the VA is suddenly terminated.
- This patch is being released to Virtual Appliances on the second, third and final wave of the production track only.
