On Thursday, September 12, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.1 to the stage track.
On Monday, September 16, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.1 to the first wave of the production track.
On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will make Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.1 available for download across all tracks. Any new Virtual Appliances downloaded from the Umbrella dashboard and deployed will run version 2.6.1.
On Monday, September 23, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.1 to the second and third wave of the production track.
On Monday, September 30, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.1 to the final wave of the production track.
Version 2.6.2 (Patch release, will not cause VA to reboot)
On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.2 to the stage track.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.2 to the first and second wave of the production track.
On Thursday, October 24, 2019, Cisco Umbrella will release Virtual Appliance (VA) version 2.6.2 to the third and final wave of the production track.

Customer VAs may upgrade over a period of days as opposed to consecutively upgrading one after another. To receive this upgrade, ensure that your firewall is configured to enable access to disthost.umbrella.com.
As a reminder, two VAs must be configured in order to upgrade automatically during these windows.
KNOWN ISSUES
- The count of internal domains displayed on the VA console does not include any "in-addr.arpa" domains.
- SNMP monitoring of the VA may show the VA to be running low on memory. This will not impact the functioning of the VA.

CHANGE SUMMARY (2.5.x to 2.6)
- Fix for issue where deployment of the Virtual Appliance on Azure using the Azure CLI or the Azure portal shows an error even though the VA gets successfully deployed.
- Fix for issue where the DMZ mode setting with dual-NIC was not persisting after a reboot.
- Fix for issue where the Support tunnel was getting auto-disabled within 24 hours even if configured for a higher duration.
- Timeout for password entry for entering configuration mode on the VA is now enhanced to 5 minutes.
