CHANGE SUMMARY (1.5.1 to 1.5.2)
No change; re-numbering of version only
CHANGE SUMMARY (1.4.10 to 1.5.1)
- Addresses memory leak observed when connector fetches events from Domain Controller (not using WMI subscription) and sends them sequentially to Virtual Appliances.
- Support for sending login events (AD user-IP mappings) to Virtual Appliances on port 443 over HTTPS. (This requires the Virtual Appliance to be running version 2.7 or higher).
CHANGE SUMMARY (1.4.4 to 1.5.1)
- Support for providing a custom username for the Connector account (instead of the default OpenDNS_Connector). This will be available only for new deployments and will require the Domain Controller configuration script to be run with the cscript <filename.wsf> --username <sAMAccountName>. The same username must be specified when installing the Connector. If you are onboarding multiple AD domains, this username should be present in all AD domains.
- Support for specifying, at the time of Connector installation, whether the LDIF files should be stored locally on the Connector for troubleshooting purposes.
- Umbrella AD Connectors deployed on Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows Server 2012 will now use TLS 1.2 with strong ciphers by default when syncing with Umbrella. Note: .NET 4.x is a mandatory prerequisite for TLS 1.2. No registry changes are required for this.
