Introduction
This article refers to users of the AnyConnect SWG module with the Umbrella Secure Web Gateway. This article does not refer to DNS layer users.
At times, the SWG agent may not be running with the most up to date configuration due to a system issue. This article describes the steps to resolve this issue.
Resolution steps
To resolve an issue with stale or missing configuration, force a configuration update with the following steps:
- Navigate to Deployments -> Domain Management -> External domains
- Add a new entry. If you do not wish to add a new entry, add a new entry and then delete it right away.
- Restart the roaming client service or wait 60 minutes.
