Overview
Impact
For example, domain.com is a cname record pointing to anotherdomain.com. domain.com has the category "webmail", anotherdomain.com has category "software and technology". When you access domain.com and it is allowed, activity search will show domain.com will have categories, "webmail" and "software and technology". If there is a block on domain.com or the webmail category, accessing domain.com will show that domain.com have category "webmail" only.
Cause
The categories for domains are determined by aggregating the categories of the domain and its associated CNAMES. If the domain being resolved is blocked (eg: domain.com), the umbrella resolver will not proceed to resolve the CNAME (eg: anotherdomain.com) and the CNAME's categories (software and technology) are not included in the activity search.
