Between October 26 and 27, 2020, Cisco Umbrella released the Umbrella roaming client for Windows version 2.2.524 for all customers on the first wave of the release track.
The release was stopped on the first wave of the release track, and replaced by version 2.2.526.
Change Summary (2.2.356 to 2.2.524)
Note: Originally, the release was 2.2.516, but has changed between the release candidate track and the first production track to 2.2.524. This is to accommodate a minor change.
- Improved IP layer enforcement feature to utilize less CPU during startup and network state change
- Internal changes to prepare for initial v2.3 release
- A conflict exists between IP layer enforcement and other applications that depend on the Windows Base Filtering Engine (BFE) service. The IP layer enforcement changes causing this issue were reverted in version 2.2.526
