Overview
Users will sometimes need to use the wildcard function in the Activity Search to investigate actions taken against a domain and related subdomains. The placement of the asterisk in the domain being searched will produce different results.
Using Asterisk (*) For Wildcard Search
Using *domain.com will search for all of the domains and subdomains in the activity search:
Using *.domain.com (note the "." after the asterisk) will search for all of the subdomains only:
Using domain.com (without the asterisk) will search for the domain only:
